Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 21, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how 9Remote collects, uses, and protects information when you use the 9Remote mobile application and related website. 9Remote is designed to discover compatible TVs on your local Wi-Fi network, control them from your iPhone, and cast selected photos or videos to supported receivers.

9Remote does not sell your personal information. The app does not upload your photo or video library to our servers. Media selected for casting is used to present that media to the TV or receiver you choose.

Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the app, 9Remote may process:

Permissions

9Remote may request the following permissions:

How We Use Information

We use information to:

Local Storage

9Remote may store app preferences, saved TV sessions, pairing credentials, haptic settings, and subscription state locally on your device. Disconnecting a TV from the app clears saved connection data for that TV where supported.

Photo and Video Casting

When you select media for casting, 9Remote may prepare local media so the selected TV or cast receiver can play it. Media support depends on the TV, receiver, network, codec, and operating system. 9Remote does not use your media for advertising or sell your media data.

Data Retention

Local app data remains on your device until you remove it, disconnect a TV, uninstall the app, or clear app data. Analytics, crash reports, and purchase-related records are retained only as needed for app reliability, subscription management, support, and applicable legal requirements.

Children's Privacy

9Remote is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
